Questions about lash extensions
- Do extensions damage natural lashes? — With proper application and regular refills no. Problems arise when fibers are too heavy for natural lashes or when clients try to remove them themselves. That is why professional application and removal is so important
- How often do refills need to be done? — Every 3-4 weeks. Natural lashes have their own life cycle — they fall out and are replaced by new ones. Refilling means attaching fibers to new lashes
- Can I swim with extended lashes? — Yes, but avoid wetting for the first 24-48 hours after application. After that you can function normally — swim, shower and even cry. Just avoid saunas and long hot baths
- How long does the first 1:1 lash application take? — About 1.5-2 hours depending on the number of natural lashes. Volume 2D-3D application takes longer — about 2-2.5 hours. Refills are shorter — 45-90 minutes
